Construction of a major infrastructure project such as the Western Spirit Clean Line requires coordination with, review and approval by many government entities. The project is currently under development and Clean Line will continue obtaining all necessary authorizations from federal, state, and local governments and agencies throughout 2017.
The Western Spirit Clean Line will undergo interconnection studies to assess any potential impact that it will have on the electric grid in the region; the project is in Transmission Service Request queues for the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM), Arizona Public Service (APS), and Tucson Electric Power (TEP).
